Halloween Fun

It's almost time for Halloween! This is the first year that my little guy "gets" it, so he picked out his own costume this year! My little man will be Batman, the main question is - will he actually wear the mask/hood? Time will tell...

There is still time to order some fun Halloween accessories from my shop, I have cute pendants and an adorable Halloween star baby blanket.

And wouldn't Abbie be an adorable Halloween surprise for the little ones (like my son) who don't eat candy?!?

Have a happy and safe Halloween!

Meet Leon

The newest bunny in the carrot patch is a sweet yellow and white little guy named Leon. He reminds me of a banana cream pie! But, we all know that bunnies don't eat bananas, they eat carrots and veggies and wiggle their cute little noses.

Leon is named after a very strong and powerful man (those who know me well, will likely guess where I came up with the name), but he is a real cutie and loves to snuggle and play bunny games.

Stop by and show some love to Leon, he'll be very pleased to have met you!

Do you know someone who loves snuggly little bunnies but doesn't quite care for the color yellow? No problem!! Simply send me a conversation in Etsy and let me know what colors you would like your bunny to be. Please allow 7-10 days from time of payment for your custom order to be shipped.

Fun with Amigurumi!

Don't you just love those little Amigurumi toys?? Yup, me too! Hence my newest little creations!

Here are two super cute bunnies made with a pattern I bought from CrochetPattern.Etsy.Com and two adorable little aliens made from a pattern I found at Lion Brand Yarn's website.

This heather gray baby safe bunny is part of Dean's first Easter basket. I can't wait to give it to him, he'll love it!

I know you are just in love with this diva Easter bunny that I made for my 5 year old cousin. She has black safety eyes and a darling little smile. I spent hours staring at it knowing it was missing something and then it dawned on me - bows on her ears!! Perfect!

And now for the aliens!! This is my first alien, I followed the pattern EXACTLY and even bought the Vanna's Choice yarn (it was on sale). He came out pretty good!

The second time around, I changed things up a bit and this little intergalactic traveler was born! I can't decide if its a boy or a girl... but either way, its got spunk! I'll be sending this one over to ShutterKate for the EtsyNJ donation basket. Check out the blog for all the details and all the other great donations!

I plan on making another alien for Dean with my rainbow variegated yarn, since he's obsessed with it. Not sure if I have enough, but I can always make his hands and feet red or blue, I have tons of that!

Hooray for Amigurumi!
