Hey! Your Ears are Naked!

Do you have naked ears? GASP! You do?!? Well, these vintage pink crystal earrings will remedy the situation!

They are super sparkly and are made with reclaimed crystal beads from a broken vintage necklace. There are two crystal beads accented with a silver plated spacer bead and a tiny sterling silver bead hanging from an ear wire. The earrings measure 1 inch long not including the wire.

Fun Vintage Finds!

Over at my day job, there has been some shuffling of offices and consolidating of unwanted supplies and paperwork. Someone thought to set up what they called a "junk" table. It was there for a few days and various broken things were shuffled around, I didn't pay it much notice. Then one morning I saw some very cool looking vintage road maps. I snatched them instantly thinking that someone out there in Etsyland would be in need of them.

You Heart Me!

I visited the Heartomatic this morning to check out my shop stats, I simply LOVE the Heartomatic, as I am sure most Etsy sellers do, and wow, today I was totally blown away by how many hearts I have - both shop hearts and single item hearts.

My shop has 361 hearts and 57 item hearts on 35 items. Wow! How cool is that?

And just because I hate doing a blog post without putting in any pictures, below are my two most hearted items - obviously, Etsy users love vintage cowboys!

Catch up??

The EtsyBloggers blog carnival for this week poses an interesting question - what do you plan on catching up on in July?

My initial response is "nothing! I'm just trying to keep up with what absolutely needs to be done." But I thought about it and I really do need to catch up on my listings. You see I have a lot of jewelry made and I also have a lot of vintage jewelry and supplies that could be destashed. The whole photo taking, photo editing and listing process is much less entertaining than the creative process. So, I shall put it in writing:

New! Made By Melissa has Vintage Jewelry!

Yes, you read it right, Made By Melissa now has vintage jewelry. Its only for a limited time as once my stash runs out, its gone forever (or until another female relative passes on her jewelry box). This jewelry is an assortment from my husband's grandmother Adeline and his great aunt Margo. There are some classic pieces from Margo's world travels and some simple and trendy necklaces and clip on earrings from Adeline's colorful collection.
